The Heritage 130P is a tabletop Dobsonian, a 130 mm (5-inch) mirror in a short tube on a small base that sits on any table or stool rather than a tripod. "Dobsonian" means you aim it by hand: no motors, no alignment, just point and look. The collapsible tube shrinks for a shelf or backpack, and 130 mm gives crisp Moon and planet views and the brighter clusters and nebulae, a genuine telescope, not a toy. You find targets with a phone star-map and occasionally collimate. For the money, one of the best ways to find out if the hobby is for you.
