Three and a third inches of premium apochromatic glass, about 25 percent more light than the TV76. Enough for detailed lunar work, planetary views at 170x, and the brighter deep-sky objects with real definition.

A well judged middle length. It reaches 120x with a 5 mm eyepiece for planets and still gives a wide 25x with a 24 mm for clusters, which makes it a genuine one-telescope choice for visual observing.
